Shortcodes
I've hosted the videos on Prestoplayer, but I don't see the option to create shortcodes in FluentCommunity. Do you know what I can do?
Where have you put the videos with PrestoPlayer?
If it was to bunny.net, you need to copy and paste the embed code from bunny.net itself - you don't need PrestoPlayer.
Shortcodes won't work, but you can embed the video.
Jonathan Gwyer J V I had the videos hosted on YouTube. Prestoplayer "protects" that YouTube video so it plays like a normal video embed, so you can't escape to watch the video on YouTube. The problem is that Prestoplayer generates a shortcode (and for now, you can't insert that shortcode in Fluent Community), not a video embed.
I had already considered bunnynet or similar, but Prestoplayer was ideal.

YouTube is too easy to bypass and find the original link that can be shared and watched anywhere. YouTube are also constantly working to fix the "hacks" used by PrestoPlayer etc. to hide the YouTube interface.
The last thing you want is other people's videos to appear at the end of yours, or the video be interrupted by ads!
It's easy to set up a bunny.net stream that can only be viewed from your site, then just copy and paste the embed code. It's also very cheap.
(Nothing against PrestoPlayer - I have a lifetime license and use it on lots of sites! I just wish they would do some development on it - open video in lightbox is sadly missing still.)

Jonathan Gwyer Thanks! I already have accounts on Bunnynet and Pandavideo. I'll use those options.
Someone in here wrote a tutorial on how to use PrestoPlayer in Community (using a template block). I've been doing it and it's working relatively well.
