Separation of Duties
Hey folks, I just started using Fluent Community (but have used wpmanageninja products for years) and am curious about how folks are setting things up. I have my community on a subdomain and I'm curious if folks are installing FluentCRM and/or FluentForms on the same domain as their community. My instinct is to separate them but I'm concerned that I'm overcomplicating things unnecessarily. But since a community could lead to consuming lots of resources, it seems like keping them separate would make since so that not everything goes down if one thing goes down. Also if you're someone who houses them separately, how do you keep your community members info in sync with your crm? How is everyone else handling this?
For best performance, install fluent products on same domain or subdomain.
Fluentcrm, fluent form and fluentcommunity should be installed in same domain/subdomain.
WiLson EberechiΒ Interesting! Thanks for your input!
Believe it or not, I know exactly how you feel 100%, however, if you want to provide your end user the best experience possible, all on the same domain is the best path. Another thing to note, Fluent Community in my experience is extremely well coded and thought out. When your community grows to the point of needing a beefy server, your income should be able to handle that with a breeze. Simplicity is the primary thing to protect for the user experience. My dream for fluent crm is for the Fluent team to igure out a way to have a unified menu system. Theme/FluentCrm separate menu system makes things a bit less intuituve for community users in my experience.
Everard BrockettΒ Duly noted. Thanks for your perspective!
A SMITHΒ yikes, typo at the end, "Theme/Fluent Community" not Theme/Fluent Crm
