Request for Blog Feature in Fluent Community
Hi Fluent Community Team,
I hope you’re doing well!
I’d like to suggest integrating a blog feature into Fluent Community. It would be great to:
- Post blogs directly to the community feed.
- Display a blog widget in the sidebar area for quick access.
I found a temporary solution using Elfsight's blog widget feature (link), but since it’s a paid service, it’s not viable for us in the long term. That’s why I think having this feature built into Fluent Community would be incredibly beneficial.
What do you think about this idea? Does anyone else agree?
Could you show a screen of how you implemented the blog with this plugin? Would be interesting to see.
As far as I know from following this group and the roadmap - it will be available natively. But don’t know when.

Currently, I haven’t been able to add the blog directly to the sidebar. Instead, I’ve created a new blog page and linked the blog widget using its shortcode. This way, the blog content is accessible, but unfortunately, it’s not ideal.
I think having a native solution to integrate blogs seamlessly into both the feed and the sidebar would make this feature much more effective and user-friendly.
