Request: Archiving a post
Could you give us the option to archive posts instead of deleting them? NB. would be nice to have an access to the archived posts list (backend and even frontend)

I'm working on this currently because of some other features I've built out. WP Posts in Spaces, RSS in Spaces, and Discord in Spaces.
Essentially you will be able to set up multiple rules based on spaces, posts, and comments. So for example the Discord, the rule could specifically target a post and it's comments. Any comments older than X or when it hits X comments, it would auto archive them and update the main post with a link to a plain text page of the archived comments. Here's an example of that.
Jeff Brigman thank you jeff! But I’d like the archived posts to look the same way normal posts do. Otherwise they aren’t easy to read and media disappears
AS W I’ve actually changed it from that as I want the archive searchable as well. As I continue to test it, it’s evolving so what I share today most likely isn’t where it ends up.
Do you want every user to be able to archive posts, or just admins? If it’s the latter, here’s a trick I’ve been using for over 20 years: just set up a hidden space called "Archive" that only super admins can access. When you need to pull a post down, just move it there. That way, nothing gets deleted, and you can easily move it back whenever you need to.
