Registration Restrictions
I had a BB install but was getting spammed a lot with a certain domain GMX.com. BB came out with Registration Restrictions which helped end the constant spam. Is there something like this in Fluent Community or another way this can be done?
See if you can find any settings here https://fluentauth.com/

Luke BarrettΒ please check this YT video where you can find an attentive way for users registration #FluentForms. Also you can consider Woo for paid access.
Note: keeping the default WP Register might not be the best idea to prevent Spam

Ps. You can watch the Playlist: Building A Membership Site there if interested.
Mat βΒ he is asking if he can restrict users on the fluent community registration page.
Tanmay KapseΒ got it.
So the native fCommunity Registry Form uses the default WP Register feature and currently I am not aware how to enhance the antispam (maybe a random nounces could be added to the form by the Ninja team but even if you protect the Fluent Community native login form spammers can access the wp-register/ajax/api endpoint).
Implementing Captcha/Turnstile could be helpful in that form (currently not possible) but as log as you will have the native WP registration enabled you can expect Spammy accounts created automatically.
Note: I wish we could specify or limit domains/emails that can register to our WP.
Custom solutions like using Fluent Forms can filter spammers and we can have some form validation there.
Thanks for your replies guys. Tanmay KapseΒ is correct, Im looking to see if there was a feature I my have missed that would allow to restrict domains etc. It was amazing feature at the time and wanted to see if there would be something similar with fluent.
I checked Fluent Auth but could not see this feature.
The problem with Name and Lastame fields is that they accepts numbers too , is a bug ??
is a way to avoid this ?? any code example ??
