Register should not be public
- Because of registering a lot of spambots. I had 4 spambot after 5 minute registration open.
- In order to have first a newsletter subscription with double opt-in I have the following implementation:
-
FluentCRM (with FluentForms): take them to a list outside of Fluentcommunity. Simply one field: email.
-
After the double opt-in they get the registration link (standard one)
But now they can see - on the login form - the registration link. And that's awful for me. Because now anybody can register.
But I want to have a clean and closed community.
[I tried several hours with FluentAuth, but there are nonces errors on mobile, this is a nogo]
I tried also to make a "display:none" to the registration link on Login form. But this is not working with FluentSnippets.
What I need:
a) Advanced configuration of non-public registration with support of FluentCRM (I have automation to put them to the right list after DOI and so on). What about shortcodes of the login form like FluentAuth, but working?
Or improve FluentAuth, please to work together with FluentCommunity. But first and urgently I want to remove the register link at the login form.
How to?
After some minutes, not published link or form on homepage, only activated the βanybody can registerβ I am getting 50 unwanted registrations!!!

What is wrong?
Nicole Y. MΓ€nnl - NY DigitalΒ Install security plugin on site. Server security, cloudflare rules
Sam JansenΒ Why are you sure I am not using Turnstile? I have additional Security Ninja with configuration. And for FluentForms it works. But for Fluentcommunity (is Turnstile global activated if active in FluentForms?) and its registration it is not working.
What else? I have Cloudflare for DNS and so on. But what kind of rules additional or exclusive? Give me more hints. Thanks.
If you disable user registration in WP Settings then registration page will be disabled automatically.
Shahjahan JewelΒ If I have no registration page how do they register save?
I have the feeling nobody is getting the point.
I agree that double opt-in and manual approvals should be supported directly in Community. That's what's holding me back from using it. Otherwise the user file can become unmanageable over time (unless there's something I'm missing).
vBriefings Team ConnectΒ Did you try the Signup form provided by FluentCommunity? The registration form has verification code system by default.
Shahjahan JewelΒ Code registration vs. Double Optin -> GDPR!
I need this in Europe. No compromise possible.
