Refreshing the Feed

I'm having to hit refresh to seen any updates in the feed on my site's new FluentCommunity portal. Is this SOP for us atm.

Is there a setting to push updates to a "live feed"?

Liking this plugin a lot. Rolling it out to beta testers on my site now.
