Questions About the Functionality of the @everyone Tag for Notifications and Exclusions

I have a few questions about how the @everyone tag works when mentioning users in the community:

1. Users with notifications turned off:

   • If someone has disabled the option to receive email notifications, do they still get an email when @everyone is used?

2. Excluding specific users:

   • For those who haven’t disabled notifications, is it possible to configure the @everyone tag to exclude certain users from receiving the notification?

I want to better understand how to manage mass mentions while respecting individual user settings or preferences. I’d appreciate any guidance. 😊
