Question about the “Following” tab in notifications

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the functionality of the “Following” tab in Fluent-Community notifications.

I’ve noticed that there is currently no direct option to follow a post or a member in Fluent-Community. Therefore, I’m unsure what kind of notifications are displayed under this tab and how this feature is intended to be used.

Could someone explain the purpose of this tab and whether there are any hidden or less obvious ways to follow posts or members?

It would be very useful to have the ability to follow posts and members, as this feature is available in other community platforms and helps users stay engaged with relevant discussions and individuals.

Shahjahan Jewel please, we need to allow members to follow/unfollow posts and other members. It helps engagement

Admin j This is a very important function at Skool and creates a lot of engagement.
Community owners who switch from Skool to Fluent miss this feature.

Admin j

Raiyan Marzan are you guys planning to add this?

Hi André Salier Admin j
The notifications that are not specifically mentioned fall under the “Following” notifications. Currently, there is no option to follow posts, but we can take this as a feature request. Thank you!

Admin j

Raiyan Marzan Almost 100 users have voted for this feature in a couple of requests:
- Friends and Followers
- Ability to Follow Posts and Receive Notifications for New Comments

This would increase engagement in all of our communities🚀

Thank you for wanting to implement the function, it is very important for all community operators who want to switch from Skool to Fluent community.

They really miss this feature as it is a much better user experience.
