Question about Importing WordPress Users into FluentCommunity
Dear FluentCommunity Community,
I hope this message finds you well.
Iโve noticed that whenever I create a user within the FluentCommunity plugin, a corresponding WordPress user is also created. Based on this behavior, I assumed that WordPress users and Community users are connected.
Recently, I installed the FluentCommunity plugin on a second website, which already has several hundred WordPress users. I was hoping that these existing WordPress users would automatically appear as Community users in FluentCommunity. However, this is not the case.
Could you please advise if there is a simple way to import all existing WordPress users into the Community? Any guidance or resources you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Best regards,
Ender
In the next version, we will have an option to sync all the WordPress users or selected user roles to import in the community. If you are currently using FluentCRM then filter the contacts and select all and add to a community then it will automatically create the community profile and assign to that space.
Shahjahan Jewelย Great!!! I have installed FluentCRM (FREE), but the Wordpress Users are not in any list. I am really new to the Fluent-World. I think i will just wait for the next version, and then find a way to putt all Wordpress Users in the Community, in the Spaces and in FluentCRM
Ender Aysalย Sync the WordPress users from contacts -> Import and then you can filter and do bulk actions.
Shahjahan Jewelย Great -As i see i do that in FCRM and import all Wordpress-Users to FCRM and then using a buk aktion i move all to a (Free) Space . Thx a lot
Shahjahan Jewelย hello - ok it says a year ago - but of wich version we are talking about? Is this feature already integrated in the actual version? I couldn't find it. SO best way to go over fluent crm i guess?
Having WP users not same as people being members of a Space, which is good as its important to be able to choose who is a member of what space.
As far as I know, you need to FluentCRM Pro for now to be able to assign users to spaces. That works for me and acts like a membership plugin as such. They are adding webhooks though I'm told so you should be able to add them that way from Woocommerce etc also. Hope that helps. D
Daniel Herreraย Well, i was not talking about putting People in any space. I just wanted to pit them in the Community and later solve the problem who to put in which space manually
