Is there a way to get the push notifications also running for the privat Chat?

Or is it a planned feature?

Feature request: Extended push notification triggers for FluentCommunity

Currently, push notifications only cover basic reactive user interactions (comments, replies, mentions). To significantly boost community retention and course engagement, we would love to see granular trigger controls for the following areas:

1. Announcements & admin/moderator content

  • New announcement / pinned post: Instant notification to all space/community members when an admin publishes an announcement.
  • New post by specific roles: Notify members when an admin, instructor, or moderator publishes a new post in a space they follow.
  • Space-level post notifications: Allow members to opt-in to all new posts within a specific space (not just when they are tagged).

2. Courses & learning (LMS integration)

  • New course published: Notify members when they get access to a brand new course.
  • New lesson/module available (drip content): Push alert when a scheduled/dripped lesson unlocks for the enrolled student.
  • Assignment / quiz feedback: Notify a student when an instructor reviews or grades their submission.
  • Course completion: Congratulatory push notification upon completing a milestone or full course.

3. Events & live sessions

  • Upcoming event reminder: Automated reminder (e.g., 1 hour before and 10 minutes before) a live stream, webinar, or community event starts.
  • Event schedule changes: Notify registered attendees if an event time or link changes.

4. Direct messaging & 1-on-1 engagement

  • New direct message (DM): Push notification when receiving a private chat message (critical for real-time mobile engagement).
  • Connection / friend request: If connection features are enabled, notify users when someone sends a connection request.

5. Gamification & milestones

  • Badge / level unlocked: Alert users when they earn a new badge, level up, or reach a points milestone.
  • Leaderboard updates: Weekly or monthly notification if a member enters the top 3/10.

6. Admin / moderation alerts (backend / moderator role)

  • New member joined space: Notify space moderators when a new member joins or requests access.
  • Reported content / moderation queue: Urgent push alert to moderators when content is flagged or reported by community members.
