Is anyone considering a plugin other than FC as a plan B?
I thought FC was the Plan B after BuddyBoss got so bloated? What are you worried about or waiting on?
SureDash is the other one I've seen mentioned. It looks very much the same and is in early development so will come with similar problems. https://suredash.com/
Ross H I agree with you—FC is the backup plan.
The problem is that it's harder to customize.
For example, when someone requests a password reset, they receive an email.
I've tried everything to modify the email message, but I haven't been able to do it yet.
With other plugins, I would simply create a PHP snippet and solve the issue.
Another problem is account creation.
Right now, users have to fill in their name, email, username, and enter their password twice.
I’d prefer a simpler process where they only provide their name, email, and password (just once).
These extra fields create unnecessary friction for signing up.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I like FC, but the difficulty in customizing things concerns me.
After all, the fundamental principle of WordPress is to be open-source and modular.
Not saying I'm necessarily right—just venting.

Rafael Piton What I am currently using is Fluent Auth, which allows me to create the user without the need to enter their personal data
FC is the only plan. No Plan B or C. Once theme compatibility is available, everything will rock smoothly
