Paywall to Access Community Spaces and How to Enable SEO
I want to make the posts in spaces available in search engines, but I don't want to let people see the content without paying, or at least only see a portion of a post without being a member.
FluentCommunity adopters, how are you making that happen? If I close the spaces to only paid members, is there a way to get some of the content on search engines?
Am I wishing for something to happen that can't happen?
If your space is private, then all the posts will be private and hidden for the public web (search engines). That's how it should work.
Shahjahan Jewel Yeah, that's what I figured. I am building a youth leaders/youthpastors resource and I wanted to provide this with a yearly recurring subscription. The content is valuable, but I need to make a paywall to access it so I can keep the site up and running. If I make it public, then I am less likely to recover my expenses.
If anyone has some ideas on how to make this work in another way, please hit me up.
Shahjahan Jewel I was also wondering about this. I was mainly waiting posts and comments to be indexed in search engines like reddit but not allow people to comment, post and view profiles without signing up. Your thoughts?
