Paymattic Road Map Question

Will Paymattic in the future be able to control access to Fluent Community Courses and Spaces?

I have my site built using Fluent Forms Pro, but need a user dashboard for subscription payments and need a way to control course access based on subscriptions.

Example: Course and Space access controlled by roles. When someone's subscription payment is cancelled or expires, their user role changes which removes their access to the training.

If this isn't in the works, are their hooks with Paymattic or Fluent Forms Pro that would allow this? I don't mind waiting. Just trying to sort out with product to go with for my new Fluent Community. Thank you!

Ryk Melck

FluentCRM has an integration with paymattic. I don’t know much about Paymattic thou. https://fluentcrm.com/paymattic-review/

Ryk MelckΒ yeah thanks. I know about Paymattic. But neither Paymattic nor Fluent Forms Pro integrate with Fluent Community at a level where you can self subscriptions AND control course and spaces access. This is what I'm after. And I'm okay waiting, but trying to sort out whether I should base on Fluent Forms Pro or Paymattic. Like, where is Fluent throwing the love?

Ryk Melck

kyler boudreauΒ do you mind expanding on this please. FluentForms integrates with FluentCRM. After completing a form I can Enrol into a space, Enrol Course etc. Surely paymattic would be your trigger and then you can do X in the automation? Just curious.

kyler boudreau

Ryk MelckΒ right. That's my current setup. I have Fluent Forms Pro accepting Stripe payment, creating WP user, assigning role and adding a CRM tag. But for an online LMS, what I need is this:

Course and Space access controlled by roles. And then when someone's subscription payment is cancelled or expires, their user role changes which removes their access to the training.

I'll add this to the top post for clarity. Thanks!

Ryk Melck

kyler boudreauΒ are you using fluentcrm Pro? This has the ability to set automations based on roles.

kyler boudreau

Ryk MelckΒ yes I'm using Fluent CRM Pro. So you're saying I can grant access and withdraw access to courses via the CRM?

kyler boudreauΒ I came here after your somewhat cryptic community email. Have you looked at SureCart? Sounds like it would fit your needs.

kyler boudreau

Charles ThorellΒ Charles! I know you. Just checked out SureCart and they look really nice actually. Problem is I love what Fluent does SO MUCH that I don't want to use another plugin only to have them announce the solution. But thanks, like knowing other options. Good to hear from you. We never posted those FB pics.

kyler boudreauΒ The picture is on my timeline. I just tagged you.

kyler boudreau

Charles ThorellΒ whoa wait! I don't have my copy. It's on Sandi's phone somewhere.

kyler boudreau

Charles ThorellΒ hey Charles...I'm looking more at another product by that company which is SureTriggers. This looks promising! Could fill in the gap here. Thanks for the recommendation. Hey, text me will you? I just tried to text you and don't have your number for some reason.

Charles Thorell

kyler boudreauΒ SureCart and SureTriggers - just about anything that starts with Sure - is some kind of co-op between Brainstorm Force and Adam Preiser. I have most of WPMN's plugins and think they're great.

kyler boudreau

Charles ThorellΒ have you had any issues with sure triggers? I see that they rely on their cloud versus running independently on the website.

I will make a youtube video about it soon

kyler boudreau

Marco di GuglielmoΒ hey man! THANK YOU for this. So I didn't understand there was a community integration now available with Fluent Forms Pro. Cool. I see this uses Uncanny Automator which...man, I get it. But that's another license fee. Still, this is great. Thank you.

kyler boudreau

Marco di GuglielmoΒ oh wait, are you using uncanny or automator WP?

I use uncanny automator but you don't have to use it. Only if you want more automated such as delete a user if he cancels or stops his subscription

kyler boudreau

Marco di GuglielmoΒ thanks. It's just the price that makes me shy away. Looking at Flowmattic as it runs local and has a lifetime buy option. But back to your video, thanks man!

Got this from Paymattic support today: "We have a different vision for Paymattic. Basically, we want to add advanced payment-related features to Paymattic, More regional-based payment methods, Advanced Payment or subscription management systems, etc. It will be a kind of Payment framework where you can build custom solutions using the core processor. For example, if You want to enroll your users for your favorite LMS courses, You can use Paymattic as it's super easy for end-users to make the payment. Like on our site, We use Paymattic for custom payments for upgrade packages.

On the other hand, Fluent Form's payment is something like other forms (for example gravity forms) payment module where you can accept basic payments."
