Paid courses options
Fluent community support docs highlight only fluent forms pro as a means to take payment. But if I'm reading the docs correctly, access can also be granted through Fluent CRM tags, which means I dont need to use fluent forms pro ...which is good.
It seems fluent community requires login, which uses default WP authentication, so would I have to create WP users for all those people in I've got in Fluent CRM? Currently, they're not saved as WP users, but I'm guessing I'd need to do that. Is that correct?
If you add a contact to a course or space then a WP Account will be created automatically.
Shahjahan JewelΒ sure moving forward. but that doesn't address the people already there. Does fluent CRM allow creating users in bulk for people already stored in contacts?
Craig Grella if you add someone to a course or space, it check if the contact has a WP account or not. if not then it will create an account.
Shahjahan JewelΒ okay thanks.
so I've got 100 people who bought access to a course that I've been delivering custom. Those names and emails and marketing info have been managed with fluent CRM pro.
I install fluent community, create access with a paid subscription through stripe. That person gets tagged in Fluent CRM "Course" and then Community checks to see if a user exists (it won't because I dont create users yet) and when it finds that user with the course tag doesn't exist, it creates it.
Im assuming then it sends some welcome message that gives them a username and password. Is that the default WP new user email or can that email be customized?
