Other possibility for 2 factor auth at signup?
Hi there,
I received a few complains because some people can not register at my community. The problem is that a few german mail providers are soooooo lazy and slow that it takes them more than 10 minutes to deliver the mail with the verification code at signup.
Is there any other way that can be used for these people? Right now I am happy if they contact me, then I tell them to register again and I give them their authentification code. But that isn't a really good solution.
What would you suggest?
Can you turn off 2FA?
Kaneisha Grayson of course I could do that, but I think having this 2FA prevents spammers from registering
I am not sure it can be turned of anywhere. I am curious though: how do you give them a code manually?
It really is set very strict. Maybe it can be valid for 30 minutes. Shahjahan Jewel
