Option to Enable/Disable Commenting in Private and Secret Space Settings
Shahjahan Jewel Can we introduce an option to disable commenting within the settings of a private (Privacy) Space? This way, I can use the space solely for updating my clients or community without allowing them to comment. It would help keep the updates focused and ensure the space remains informational only.
I agree, although I think it’s enough to close a discussion in a space where users can’t open new ones 🤔

Manoj Sharma you can set up a space so that only the staff can create new discussions.
When you create a discussion that is meant to be used only for communication, you click on "disable comments" (so you close it, as they used to say on old forums).

Thanks, Ryk! I just wanted to disable comments in a specific private space to use it solely for updates. While I found that I can use the “disable comments” feature after posting a comment as a workaround, it would still be great to have an option to disable comments space-wide. This way, I wouldn’t need to manually disable comments for every post in that space.
Manoj Sharma Manoj this is exactly what I have been wanting to do! To have the option to disable comments globally, or for specific individual spaces in FluentCommunity. The comment "discussion settings" is already in baked into wordpress core software but not functioning in FC..
