Notifications should link to reply, not thread
I have an important notification waiting for me:
However, when I click the link I'm taken to the thread, and then I have to scroll through what often turn out to be hundreds of comments to find the important reply.
I can sometimes go to the top of the reply stack and choose Latest sort order, but with busy threads that doesn't help.
And, I think it will only order by level 1 replies and not most recent activity underneath (i.e. replies to replies). So a new level 2 reply under an older level 1 reply won't bump the older level 1 reply to the top.
Can we make the notification link go to the actual reply instead of the thread?
Yeah, that's a very nice suggestion. We'll take a look and see if we can make it to the exact same comment. Thank you for the suggestion.
Shahjahan Jewel same applies to many products.... especially fluent boards task notifications (subject should include task name) - i am sure there is other use cases
