New PWA app for FC

Hello I just noticed that it's possible to install here the PWA app for FC just downloading it from the URL address directly on your PC (and suppose also Mac). There is way to install and launch it also from mobile phone? Thanks

I don't really understand all these pwa app, I'm still patiently waiting for the white label app that will be on Playstore...

And the I'm waiting for Shahjahan Jewel to announce it, so that I will purchase it

Prosper Try Chrome browser:

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to the website: Go to the PWA's website that you want to install.
  3. Open the menu: Tap the three-dot menu icon, usually located in the top-right corner of the browser.
  4. Select "Add to Home screen": From the menu, find and tap the "Add to Home screen" option.
  5. Confirm installation: A pop-up will appear with the app's name and icon. Tap "Add" or "Install" to confirm.
  6. Launch the app: The PWA will now be installed on your home screen. Tap the icon to launch it like any other app.

Mat ‎ thanks a lot. Do you think it will works also for Iphone?

Prosper To install a PWA on an iPhone, open the website in the Safari browser, tap the Share button, select "Add to Home Screen," and then tap "Add" in the top right corner. The app icon will then appear on your home screen alongside your other native apps.

Mat ‎ it works thanks! It would be easier and better for users if there was a direct way to download it directly to home screen of mobile. Do you think this would be possible in a near future?

Prosper hmm.. Strange things going on on my end.. I tried to install any other public community and I wasnt able to do so - I think we need to wait for the offcial announcment.

I am not sure if there are other ways to install PWA to be honest.

ps. PWA might be a great alternative to a native mobile app since all community design changes on a website will be replicated in PWA where in native app the Dev team will need to code it and release an update via AppStore etc.

Am I understanding this correctly Mat ‎ and others? They are making PWA with notifications as core? That will work on an iphone with all apple’s limits on PWA’s? Am I dreaming?! 😂

Paul Hopkins I guess you are not dreaming but we need to wait for an update just to be sure where Ninjas are heading to.
