New members

Maybe I'm not clear on something, but how can members that join my community automatically be MEMBERS in all the public spaces?

Why wouldn't they just me added upon joining?

TIA

Gee Adriaansz

You can do that very nicely with a FluentCRM automation.

Gee AdriaanszΒ Giving me more and more reason to use FluentCRM...already using FunnelKit Automations though. Maybe via the free version of FluentCRM, or webhook?

J V

Matthew SteinmanΒ Free version of Fcrm is fine for this.

Matthew Steinman

J VΒ Thank you! I'm trying to stay away from adding the FluentCRM just for this feature. Seems like a pretty basic feature to have all new users added automatically. I'm adding manually for now...

Dany TetreaultΒ Manually? You have to go into each Space, click on Members in the top right, then use the Invite option to add each user.

Matthew SteinmanΒ way too long I expect a fews thousand, I can't do that..... But thank for the tip tho.

Matthew Steinman

Dany TetreaultΒ Agree! There needs to be a more seamless process for this. I know you can add them in bulk via FluentCRM (free version).

Hi Matthew Steinman Yes, you can do this with the free version of FluentCRM, but you'll need the pro version of FluentCommunity. Go to "Access Management" in the Settings.

It works using tags. Create a tag in FluentCRM and map it to the space or course you need. Once a user gets the tag in FluentCRM, they'll be automatically added to the corresponding space.

Shahjahan JewelΒ - this seems like a pretty basic feature to have new members added to spaces without needing FluentCRM or any fancy webhooks / automations.
