The thought of Nested spaces, perhaps even with multiple primary nodes:
Sounds Appealing: Although might be out of scope
Eg:

Level One: Topic Specific (eg: Nuerodiversity)
Level Two: News in (Capital City), belonging to L1 News and L1 Topic Specific.
Level 3 : ????
Although similar (and less structured) can be achieved by hashtags, if the users actually remmeber to type them in

If they add games, I vote for DOOM. I heard that they even ran it on a pregnancy test. This is a joke, of course. I am a proponent of minimalism in code and interface.
