Mobile App Status
Just checking to see if anyone knows the status of the mobile app? I really would LOVE push notifications from an app. This would sky rocket engagement. Without this, people just don't even see what's happening unless they remember to check in. And the only platforms that have this type of subconscious retention are of course the ones we all know and frequent.
I have a PWA app and push notifications enabled for my community, which is working surprisingly well. Mobile and desktop notifications for replies, reactions, and better messages DMs. I'll be releasing the app soon but you're welcome to join and test it out.

In the future I'll look to add things beyond standard notifications, like new courses or lessons being published, new blog posts, or just custom messages/promos from the community admin.
Cool Ross FCA — so when you say app, how will this work? It's an actual iOS app that can connect to any community or it's a web based notification app?
kyler boudreau It's a PWA - worth watching a quick intro on youtube maybe. The fluent community mobile experience is good enough as is and the site doesn't really need a fully custom native app. PWA's basically add an app layer around the mobile site so you can install it to your phone, your phone sees it as a separate app not just a web shortcut, and you can receive proper branded push notifications. Once it's installed the user experience is no different to having installed an app through an app store, and you don't have to mess around with any app stores. Users get a prompt when they visit your site to install your app and it happens immediately.
