Migrate Sites to xCloud from Gridpane: A Guide
I jumped on the xCloud offer. Now in the process of moving sites from Gridpane to xCloud. I'm not a migration plugin fan. They're fine when they work and I know Migrate Guru seems good. But decided to do a blog post on steps required to migrate a site from GP managed server to xCloud managed server without using plugins. It also covers adding security headers, dropping the wrong db tables, etc.
For those of you like me, enjoy: https://kylerboudreau.com/how-to-migrate-a-wordpress-site-to-xcloud-without-using-a-migration-plugin/
That's a nice guide. Can't you just use Full Server Migration? Not sure if you GP give Root access of the server or not. I just migrated a few sites yesterday (not from GP) and it took a couple of minutes.
Shahjahan JewelΒ I looked at the server migration instructions and just decided to do site by site. I don't have a ton.
kyler boudreauΒ give our full server migration a try too and you will love it.

You can migrate/clone sites in bulk on server end. Works with any ubuntu and (OLS/NGINX) machines. As you are using GP so I guess you already have root access.
Shifat from xCloud HostΒ I'll def use your site and server clone stuff from xCloud to xCloud managed. But for this stuff, I'm just doing site by site. For example, one of my servers only has three sites on it. Not a huge deal. And with GP I have to go disable crap on all the sites any or it will throw errors after the migration, etc.
