Membership Questions for Spaces: FluentForms?
Hi guys, could anyone describe how they would do this: I wish to include a feature like Facebook has for "membership questions" - meaning creating a set of questions for people to answer if they wish to join my FluentCommunity space. This has worked as a great filter for me on Facebook to filter out people who are not really into our niche subject and led to a quality community base.
I would set the group to "private" and then customize the lock-screen, change the "buy now" button to "answer three questions to enter".. BUT, my question is, is it possible to somehow use FluentForms to capture the answer so that the form pops up? or must it lead to another unique page with those questions which also captures their registration details (email etc). So, my real question is; is it possible to somehow provide the answers applicants gave to the moderators of the space who do not have full admin access to FluentCRM?
Any ideas?

An idea....this should work...in theory.
I think you could do it with Fluent Forms and OttoKit automation. Setup the form on a regular WordPress page. Configure the form trigger in OttoKit. Use OttoKit's 'Human in the Loop' feature to email the moderator to either approve or reject the new member. Configure the automation in OttoKit, if the moderator approves, to add the new user into FluentCommunity and assign them to whichever space.
OttoKit is the only automation tool I know of at the moment that has the 'Human in the Loop' approval feature and supports FluentCommunity. FlowMattic is working on adding that feature, I think (Nitin Yawalkar). FlowMattic has more triggers and actions for FluentCommunity so it might be worth waiting a while to see if they are able to add a similar 'Human in the Loop' feature soon.
Thomas Oates Thanks for the mention. FlowMattic's next update will include the Human in The Loop feature, and it will be more powerful than any other automation platforms including Ottokit as well 😉
As for the use case with Human in the loop, Sam Robinson , the idea Thomas shared will work just fine. I will record a small video with the exact use case once the FlowMattic's next update is released.
