Live video sessions

What and how do you use live video sessions in your community?
Great question.... i was thinking the same thing, you could embed a YouTube live video.... be interesting to see what other options are available...
Mark Whitby I have to try that, I think it will work. But it doesnt solve the issue entirely, in case i want to use breakout rooms and so on... i have a problem.
Reimo Rehkli I will try it too... I use eCamm to produce and can send to YT as a unlisted live so that it's only in FC its seen....
I'm looking at creating an addon for Zoom — should be possible to live stream and access to past recorded sessions directly in the community. Still at planning stage, so any comments or suggestions would be great.
David Churchill how do imagine that would handle live broadcasts?
Mark Whitby it would use Zooms custom live streaming service to stream in an event/page within the Space (or possibly site-wide). It would require a Zoom Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account.
David Churchill ok, what about a generic camera feed that can take, camera, virtual camera & other streams.....
Currently i used eCamm (includes zoom integration) and use virtual camera feed.... how hard would it be to get a stream directly into a self hosted WP/FC without a 3rd party server in the mix?
Mark Whitby ooh, interesting idea. I am sure it would be possible. Have used eCamm in the past, will do some investigating, although currently working on something else for FC, so likely be next month before I start working on anything.

I see there are several plugins & setups to do similar, will checkout and see if simple to selfhost.
