Lightweight Reactions (Thumbs Up, Heart, Thanks) to Acknowledge Updates Without Commenting

In Fluent Boards, collaboration often requires acknowledging that an update has been seen or understood or to thank someone. At the moment, the only way to do this is by leaving a written comment or adding a tag.

In many cases, this is unnecessary. A short update, status change, or FYI does not always require a textual response, yet silence can feel unclear to the sender.

I would like to request a lightweight reaction feature, allowing users to respond with simple icons such as thumbs up, heart, thanks, or similar basic reactions.

Why this matters:

• It allows users to acknowledge updates without adding noise to the discussion
• It reduces the number of low-value comments like “seen”, “ok”, or “thanks”
• It improves clarity and responsiveness within teams
• It aligns Fluent Boards more closely with modern collaboration tools where reactions are a standard interaction pattern

Suggested scope:

• A small, fixed set of basic reactions (no need for custom emojis)
• Reactions visible per card activity or comment
• Optional notifications, or no notification at all, to keep it lightweight

This would make day-to-day collaboration more efficient, cleaner, and more human, without increasing cognitive or communication overhead.
