Let us fine-tune what space moderators can or can't do
Space moderators feel a bit too powerful to me. They can basically do almost everything an admin can: even remove or edit what the admin has written... I know I would never trust anybody if they could write, edit and remove whatever they like.
I’d really love more control over what they’re allowed to do. Being able to choose their permissions, depending on the situation or part of the community, would be more sensible.
Also, it would make a lot of sense to have a “one space-only moderator” role. That way, someone (or several individuals) could moderate their own space without being able to touch on the rest of the community.
You already have something similar for courses (course Admin; course creator), so it’s a bit surprising that spaces don’t work the same way...

you can assign mods to specific spaces from the spaces vs univeral moderation under the management tab.
Ceez Vision I had shared a screenshot of the management tab. I can't find a way to assign mods to specific spaces. I've just checked a space to see if I could do that. I don't want only admin/mods to be able to post in a space, just to be clear.
Could you show me a screenshot of what you mean?
Besides, what I want as well is to control the "power" mods have.
Anne-Sophie W What he means is under the members tab of the space. You can edit what kind of member someone is.

Ceez Vision not being able to edit and remove posts written by Admin would be a good start. Not being able to pin posts to the top outside of their assigned communities. Not being moderators across the entire community but only one or several spaces.

I just discovered the course access. It so powerful, I so much love it. Now I can allow top members in my community to create and control their own courses. This is so sweet. Fluent teams are very smart
