Landing pages to FluentCommunity Question
I'm thinking of buying fluent community but am not sure which other products I need to go with it. Please could anyone clarify if the following set up is possible?
I have an authority site so would prefer to feature the sales landing pages for my courses and products on my main site (aside from the sales pages shown inside fluent community).
If I have sales pages on my main site, is it possible to set up the purchase (cart) on my main site sales page so that the buyer is then redirected through to the course hosted inside fluentcommunity after they buy? They would, as part of the check out process, also automatically receive their login credentials if they're not already a member of fluent community.
Please advise, would this require fluent forms for the sales page to transition the customer through to fluentcommunity?
Thank you for your help,
Sam
Hello Sam!
Hope this approach helps:
I would go for: FCRM + Fluent Community for accesses.
To that, you will need
- A preferred payment processor. Eg.: FluentCart is about to be launched in the next weeks. Keep an eye if you want to stay in the βsuiteβ. Fluent forms could also be a good fit!
- Preferred site builder: for the landing pages.
So, you can:
Create Landing with the site builder > button to checkout URL > Manage accesses and tags on FCRM / Map with Fluent Community if you want to use tags.
Credentials and so will be created and sent as Wordpress default, unless you want to edit some of those messages (you can do so with the free plugin Fluent Auth).
Hope this helps!
Iβm sure many users can give other useful approaches. The magic of fluent is that you can keep it very simple!
PW.: one of the ideas for Fluent Cart is that you can redirect to the course page just after checkout. (Eg.: in a similar war ThriveCart does in case you know it)
PW.2: you can have everything on the main site. The community will be created with βdomain.com/portalβ termination. But take into account some users prefer to have it on a subdomain. Which will add an βextraβ sync effort to take into account. But that itβs easy to manage with the features of webhooks in fluent community.
PW3.: take into account that you will also need a video hosting platform of choice for the courses.
