By the way, which hosting platform are you using? The server response time for REST API is about 4s which should be around 1s.

Roger Wilkerson, I should use a VPS. The load speed will dramatically improve. Choose a server location nearest to your main user base (optional).
My recommendation: https://xcloud.host/ You may try their managed server. Not expensive at all and you can host multiple sites on one server. You may choose 4-8GB ram with muti-core support.
