is this actually Fluent Community that we are in right now?
I hope this is the right place. I have a few questions which I hope you can answer. Thank you in advance.
- How customizable is the platform? Is what we are seeing now, what it looks like 'out of the box'?
- Is there a way to turn 'chat' off? I'm asking this for safety reasons really in our community. We won't want to private chat.
- Maybe I've got this wrong and this isn't an example of the actual community, but I can't see a way of adding an MP3 or wav?
Yes, this uses Fluent Community and with various features enabled. The vanilla experience is very similar to this community.
Yes, chat is a dedicated module and is not enabled by default. So, there's no issue in not using it.
I believe that if you enable Fluent Player (free), that you should then be able to have audio only. But, I can't be 100% certain, as I don't use audio in my community.
Paul C thanks Paul. So do you know if icons throughout can be changed to match a brand? Good to know about chat. I've just read that audio cannot be uploaded even with Fluent Player Pro version. This can't be right. There must be something that folk are missing. Hopefully support can answer?

If so, yes. You can configure these in multiple ways. I've done just that in my community.
Pam Verner, you can customize menu item icons, space navbar icons, add your links, etc. You can use custom JS & CSS to change a lot of things.
