Is there a project for an MCP server to integrate AI and automation infrastructure with agents?

Having an MCP integration is expected, especially today with AI and agents. Is there any timeline for this? Has it been considered?

I've been using Craft Agents with Claude and GPT-5.5 and it setup a connection to Claude for me. All I did was give it the fluid board documentation and create a WordPress application password and everything else will essentially done by CA. I'm not sure if we are allowed to really mention other tools so I'm not going to share a link or anything, but I am basically able to talk to the fluid boards as well as send and receive information via that app.

I did see someone posted a video about setting up something similar, so if it's allowed, I don't mind sharing how I did it.

Yes BRUNO DE SOUZA , we just launched our suite built on the Wordpress Abilities API, see Debo's comment with link. It has the necessary info you need to sign up and get access.

It will take a bit of a re-thinking since this is different from the current paradigm of one mcp per plugin, one mcp per site.

The MCP handles ALL your sites, all plugins in one install. It multiplies the capacity and the token use is radically less due. The approach here builds on the Official Wordpress Core AI initiative. Full Oauth pluse flexible set ups for any MCP speaking IDE or AI. One-click install with mcpb then you can add everysite you have through terminal.

The Abilities are handled server side through the Abilities MCP Adapter, which has serious security and safety layers built in where operators have full flexibility. Due to the fact almost no vendors register Abilities in their plugin we built to main plugins that handle this.

  1. Abilities for AI - near full AI operations of Wordpress Native Core + Astra, Spectra, Surecart and Presto Player

  2. Abilities For Fluent - every fluent plugin soon full operational AI surface

    What this brings is rather unbelievable capacity compared to REST API MCPs. The plugin structure means we update the plugins more than the MCP, since it is very stable already, and add more capacity on the plugin side.

    To get set up you'll need to install the Abilities MCP, the Abilities MCP Adapter - which expose any Abilities any vendor register beyond what we have so far placed in our Abilities For Plugins, which you also need.

    Then, just ask you AI to boot Abilities MCP and read the Knowledge Boot and you can operate your full wordpress estate and all Fluent Plugins through one chat. We offer 400 LTDs in different variations during Alpha in hope to receive user feedback to catch all issues we have not yet found ourselves. We means I, J and my Claude AI team since I am a the only human in our company :)
