Inviting people to my community

Hi Everyone,

I have a thousand or so folks who I want to add to FluentCRM and then send an email through FluentCRM inviting them to the community. I'm trying to figure out the most seamless experience and way to do this. If I assign the tags in FluentCRM that are mapped to FluentCommunity, they have access, but the generic wordpress emails that are sent don't direct them to the portal page once they reset their password.

Does anyone have any ideas? I also want to publicize the community on public forums, and I'm assuming the best way to handle that would be FluentForms?

I'd love to mirror someone else's approach and workflow if you wouldn't mind sharing.

if youre using fluent crm already, create an automation. "add a tag > add to space > send custom email" all done in FluentCRM. so when you import, and add a tag, it will run the automation for all of them.

Or just send out a campaign to all the members with a link to the portal. dont be super specific in the email about spaces or anything.

I use an automation based on a tag ("Register in Community"), that creates a WordPress user (if needed) in the system and adds them to the free spaces & courses. I also utilize smart links with the option to log in the user automatically. My members rarely ever actually login, they always use the emails with the smart links to login.

Within the automation, at the beginning i check for "Joined Community" tag. If there the funnel ends. If not it continues. At the end of the automation the tag "Joined Community" is added to the user.
