Invite only? Please help
Hi,
Is it possible to create an invite only community and when a user signs up, they get X amounts of invite codes to send to others?
If not possible natively, is there any good plugins that could be used for this?
Really appreciate all help I can get on this.

That does exactly what I'm describing above, problem is it only allows for code input in the default wordpress registration page, not fluentcommunity.
Looking to see if anyone else was requesting this as I though about using something like this for an idea i am working on.
I remember when Gmail was in beta and invite only. I was able to get an invite and then I was given a number of invites I could send. I remember this being a big deal back in the day.
There is something to be said for the power of exclusivity in creating demand for something. Books have been written on this topic. It would be great if we could find a way to do this for our communities at least to get them off the ground and get them on their way to that tipping point.
Mike R I found a solution but its custom coded with custom wp tables and some automation in the background, we never went this route but I suggest if you are interested in it, talk to Renato Corluka from the Headspin UI team as he was going to be the one implementing it for us.
