Investigating PWA

Hey Shahjahan Jewel and the team, I’m looking into the possibility of a PWA (Progressive Web App) and doing some testing. Once I’ve got more concrete results, I’ll share my findings with the group.

I noticed the footer on mobile could use a bit of tweaking. I couldn’t find an option to customize this with the the new "Custom Color". Maybe I’m just overlooking something? What are your thoughts?

Investigating PWA

This image is WITHOUT custom CSS. The footer is quite tight so to speak. And Icons are rather small. I have an iPhone and find it quite small. So the image might not paint a realistic view.

This image is WITH some custom CSS. The Icons are Larger, Adding some padding as well. Just a small difference.

We are going to make the footer a bit bigger.

Have you successfully experimented with Progressive Web Apps (PWA)?

Also looking into this and would love to hear how you came along Ryk Melck

Rolla Creative I actually bput a huge delay on launching our community side. There were various reason. I tested the Superpwa Pro plugin and it actually worked very well. Yuo could always try the free version as a test. You just won't get all the pro features. I will be spending time this month to launch our community.

Rolla Creative and just a note. I will not be using this for the APP store. As I feel a mobile friendly site does a great job.
