Integration with SureMembers & SureCart
Pulling the trigger this week on moving from BuddyBoss to FluentCommunity. Before we do how does it work with SureMembers & SureCart?
This is a single-item private community, so I don't really need a cart feature. I'd be open to moving to Paymattic, but i don't see where Paymattic can add people to groups within FC. It looks like I need FluentCart to do that, which is $250/yr where SureMembers is free. Please correct me if I'm wrong and Paymattic does member group integration.
FluentCart integration is completely free where with SureCart, you are using a SAAS and paying 2.9% fee of every transaction unless you use their pro version. So you can directly use FluentCart free version.
Shahjahan Jewel FluentCart isn't free, it's $250/year according to the website and I don't see where FluentCart will add them to groups within FluentCommunity like SureMembers does (which is free).

Shahjahan Jewel Perfect, thank you, I'll dig deeper as I didn't see a free option. Will it add users to groups within FluentCommunity upon sign up? That's the only thing preventing me from ditching SureCart and SureMembers.

(to be fair, Adam and SureCart/SureMembers have been amazing, it's just a more complex product than I need).
Shahjahan Jewel As far as I know, when I use a subscription with SureCart, Stripe doesn't charge anything—only SureCart charges the 2.9%. How does this work with FluentCart? We use Stripe for monthly recurring payments. Can I migrate from SureCart to FluentCart?
Itachi Sensei This is my current setup and Stripe does take 2.9%, same as it will with FluentCart because that is the normal card processor fee. If you're on the free SureCart then SureCart takes another $2.9% for themselves. If you're on hte paid version sureCart doesn't take anything.
With FluentCart Stripe will still take their 2.9%, no getting around that, but FluentCart won't take a % as well. This means your transaction fee with FluentCart gets cut in half.
