Inseting video feature upgrade
Today one member of my community send me video that you can insert link into videa embeder for example from Instagram, it shows preview that it should work but when he post it it get posted without video / live preview. I understand (Youtube, Vimeo etc. only) why but would be cool have feature that will atleast warn you that another services are not supported when you try it. I know there is note in window which services are supported but it would be bulletproof to less thinking and reading people.
Possible improvements:
- Disallow completely URLs from another services than supported, when member try to instert Instagram reel for example, it will not let him do it and show error message.
- Allow inserting URLs of services which are not supported but show some warning again like "Make sure your video URL is from Youtube, Vimeo etc.." when URL does not match supported services.
- Make direct upload feature finally 😀
What others think about this?
Well native video is on my forever wish list. Particularly for courses.
