Inconstancies

Fresh to Fluent Forms and there are a few things that I run into. Not sure if they are bugs or user error.

I'm running ACF for my Post types an Custom fields.
When I create a Post Form and include a Multiple Choice Field I am not able to hook that to a Taxonomy.
What I see (and what I need) is the max selection with this Field. So I need to make a list that has a multi selection with a max selection.
When I create a Taxonomy Field I do not get the option to make it multi selectable and I do not see a max selection. Also it is no option to set it to a popup or checkbox or dropdown. Also..... the taxonomy field does not populate with the taxonomy when I preview. I'm lost and this feels very inconsistent and in contrary to the rest very un-intuitive.

Also I'm looking for an option to set a switch for checkbox instead of making it a button. Is that even possible?
