I regret commenting on Jewel’s email sending post. 😵💫
Every day, my FC notifications are overrun with useless alerts that more people commented on Jewel’s post.
Team, can this be fixed? This discourages me from participating on potentially popular posts here lest I end up with a flooded inbox.
We should be able to unsubscribe from notifications about a post.
This is working to create the opposite of desired social media behavior.
How my notifications look every day now
Kaneisha G. Thanks for mentioning this. We will stack the notifications in a single one for the same thread. Will implement this in the next version.
Shahjahan Jewel I think it's not just the volume of notifications, but what constitutes as "following" - there needs to be an option to not receive notifications for certain posts you comment on.
Shahjahan Jewel when will the next version come? U said this month
Tindaro Battaglia the team is bit slow for holiday vibes. But we will release a minor update within this year 🙈
Shahjahan Jewel please dont forget about custom profile fields 😅
Ross FCA agree
Shahjahan Jewel the best option to this is "Mute", add a mute in the 3 dots where copy link and bookmark is, so members can just mute the particular post. Just as Facebook does.
WiLson Eberechi good idea
WiLson Eberechi great idea
WiLson Eberechi thats a great idea

I was getting the following error pop up just now with this comment. thought i'd add that.
Unable to encode attribute [config] for model [FluentNotify\App\Models\NotificationLog] to JSON: Malformed UTF-8 characters, possibly incorrectly encoded.
Ceez Vision me to several Times
Ceez Vision same
I made a feature request some time ago to follow a post. It was meant to follow a post without liking it because being interested is not the same as liking something. Circle has this very function. If you comment a post, you automatically follow it. With a dedicated following function we could also decide on getting updates or stop receiving them. That would also solve the issue mentioned here automatically.
Agreed and gave some examples of how it could be implemented
This shows that's is absolutely necessary for the developers to actually use their own software - daily and in different languages.
Theory and practice often diverge a great deal. Same for FluentCRM, which also needs far more fine-grained subscription controls.
Don't worry, though, I'm already alerting/bugging Shahjahan Jewel about all this.
i am also intrested in this configurations.
emails notifications are most engaing for my opinion and therefore more settings are important value.
Ceurently digest - can be daily or weekly ?
