How to create lesson templates?

In a Learndash training course, I can use Elementor to create lesson templates. Each client has a different way of teaching. How to create a template in Fluentcommunity training courses. Not opening Fluentcommunity to Learndash or other requires a more advanced internal training system. Currently, I'm completely stuck because I can't manage a quality learning community without the basic tools of a Learndash or other LMS. Training isn't done with videos alone. If you have an idea, I'm interested.preneur

I may be wrong, but I feel FluentCommunity has a deliberately simple training system. It makes it easy for people to build courses, and easy for their members to complete them.

There is nothing stopping you from continuing to use Learndash or any other WordPress LMS if you need more complexity. We're using Theme Compatibility to deliver more bespoke layouts where our clients need them.

But in general, my clients are seeing FC as a breath of fresh air... "it's so easy" 😊

Jonathan GwyerΒ thanks.

Even if lesson templates can not be created, Fluent Community team can at least enable custom shortcode features...or the ability to use blocks like Kadence blocks....to make the lesson content visually enriching and interactive. As you said...and as the eLearning pedagogy is adopting a new trend .....the trend is shifting from Video based courses to Text based interactive learning.

So, if Fluent Community is to remain relevant in the LMS space in the coming years, it should start thinking of ways to enable the lesson editor to accomodate more of the content blocks ...and thus should enrich the text based lesson creation feature, i.e. make the editor compatible with different interactive blocks.

Video courses are fastly moving in the direction of being traditional and less effective.

arjun arjunΒ Exactly, and so they are setting out exactly what they want in their disruptive process. I fear that there is a lack of a true understanding of what training is in 2026.

arjun arjunΒ I’m having a hard time getting my head around the idea that video is on the way out. Can you give me some examples or further explanation about β€œtext based interactive learning?” Thx

Jonathan Gwyer

Charlotte DΒ yes, I'd love to see an example or demo arjun arjunΒ
