I know some people build their own sites, while others may use freelancers to build their sites. My site is more complex and expected to cost around $5k-$6k, and this will not include advertising, and seo costs...

David Scurlock that is totally depending on the complexity of the site. My projects start from 1950€ for a simple site with crm, when we add workflow and automation, or dynamic content, it becomes higher
I worked one task at a time with an “unlimited tech + design tasks” agency to build my site over several months. Let’s assume 3 months.
Hosting: $600/yr —> $150
Tech agency for design + coding of the site: $6k/yr for unlimited tasks —> $1500
Blocksy Pro: $500 one time
FC build (all software needed): $1500 one time
Total: $3650
