I'm curious. When did you build your community and how many members does it currently have?
For me: I started out by building it about 4 months ago and there are almost 500 members.

Update: I have sort of “stalled”—or maybe stabilized—at 18 members paying $33/mo, but I’m pleased with the level of engagement and posting.
Now, I’m going to focus on keeping my 18 members past their first month!
After I successfully retain these members, I’ll explore getting more members.

I think the more relevant question is how active are members. You can have a lot but if they don't post or are active then it's a moot point. I think that's the primary struggle with communities, not to mention the pain point of having to get people to log into something different other than a Facebook group.
