🛟 How does Multisite work for FluentCommunity?
Am I correct that if you have a multisite with 5 domains configured with FluentCommunity, it will be free for the user to navigate through them? He will be in the system and will only notice the change of subdomain?
It's just that if that's how it works, it will help for balancing the server. Please correct me if I have misunderstood.
Multisite requires a fluent community pro license for each domain plus one for the main site for a total of six licenses per your example. Each domain would have its own FC portal.
OR, you can have 5 domains in your multisite and 1 Fluent Community Pro license for your main site. A registered user can access all of your network domains but you would only have 1 community portal.
By default, WordPress allows a registered user free access to all subsites in the multi site network, so if you have individual FC licenses for each of your subsite domains, a user would only register once and have access to all of the individual FC portals.
I set my multi site using sub folders rather than subdomains.
As users visit the different sub sites within the multisite network and/or individual FC portals, they would notice the changes in the URL bar.
I’m not sure if I have answered your question, but I am creating a large multi site and learning a lot along the way.
I have not had any functionality problems with the fluent community plugin in the multi site set up and I have found the support team to be very helpful when I submit tickets.

Joe Young Thank you for your inquiry. I use Wordpress and have had no problems with my multisite. The FC support team has promptly responded to my tickets. Before setting it up, I read as much info about multisite creation as I could find. It’s a simple install and setup. I am using 51 of my 100 licenses ( one for the main site which will house the blog and 50 individual subsites). Each site requires individual portal setup (no cloning) even though all of my subsites are nearly identical including their portals. I set up the multisite with subfolders (domain/subsite) NOT subdomains. All of the plugins are installed and activated in your site admin, and you set up each subsite FC portal in the individual subsite, as well.

My issue is currently I want a single 'main' portal for my multisite network. Each subdomain will not have their own community, all members go to the same portal and I use Spaces for individual discussions as all the sub-sites on my network are related and part of the whole. I will eventually purchase the Pro version because I want the features and believe the product is worth it.
Right now however, if I 'Network Activate' Fluent Community I throw a fatal error when trying to access any of my other sub sites. I'll troubleshoot and see if I can figure out where the conflict lies...
