How does Fluentcommunity deal with cookies?

Does anybody know how to deal with cookies and make fluentcommunity GDPR ready?

I use the complianz cookie banner for my site but it does not load on my community portal.

I think only cookie yes and this work with fluentcommunity https://wordpress.org/plugins/real-cookie-banner/

I used to have cookieyes but it did not work. So my question is, why would some banners work with Fluentcommunity and some not.

For example, Complianz is one of the most feature rich, het Is don't see it working on my portal.

Learning Music SkillsΒ when you are inside the portal, most of the plugins on your site are not processed. This dramatically speeds up the portal, but it has this side effect you are seeing.

That's why solutions that are loaded using javascript rather than a plugin can work both inside and out, unless the plugin developers go out of their way to support FluentCommunity,

getterms works for me using javascript in the header.

Truly, I am tired of the number of plugins required. GetTerms is a plugin Correct?

Karl Emil NikkaΒ I checked your post. So basically Fluentcommunity is far from being GDPR compliant and thus even illegal to work with if you are based in the EU as a company?

Karl Emil Nikka

Learning Music SkillsΒ WPManageNinja are working on a GDPR compliant version of FluentCommunity (I don’t think the initial releases have been intended for use in the EU). The upcoming GDPR compliant version will add the necessary hooks but may still need third-party tools (e.g., consent manager) to be fully compliant.

Karl Emil Nikka

Learning Music SkillsΒ And to answer your question: no, there’s no way to make the current version GDPR compliant due to the lack of necessary hooks.

Karl Emil NikkaΒ Do you know anything about the status? In mean, from what I can see there are plenty of people who have FC and are based on the EU.

With a consent manager you mean something like a cookie banner right (e.g. Complianz)

In hope that a GDPR compliant version will be easy to work with even for non programmers/developers

Learning Music SkillsΒ The only thing I know is that it’s development. Yes, I meant some like a cookie banner.
