How can I remove a dm in community?

I was contacted by someone, offering help with solving one of my questions. No doubt they were spammers of some sort. I was cautious with answering because it seemed weird, and now their account is deleted, so I assume this person contacted many others as well and got booted, but now, the dm is still there, with no obvious way to remove.

I have a free plugin for this. If you go to the conversation you can get the thread ID from the URL and delete it from the wordpress admin.

Ross FCA but it's here, so I don't have admin access to this site. Users should be able to delete dm's, not just block as it is now.

Jeff Oh I see, sorry I see what you mean. I can't help with that but it's a good point. Would be good to be able to delete conversations from your side.

There should be build-in option to delete threads in chat and many more features..

Mat ‎ what other features? One thing unrelated that would be like other boards I use is a "someone is replying" chat like animation on these comments. that is always fun to see someone is replying to a thread you are participating in.

Jeff in simply words.. Chat/Messaging addon is pretty basic.. it would be good to have at least same features as for posts etc.

Lets see what the new update will bring.

Jeff I think the chat is using the pusher API.

I remember using it in BuddyBoss and if I am not wrong it has that animation feature.

So, probably it’s quite possible to do. Not sure if it has implications on performance though
