How are you getting new members
How are you getting members to your community?
I have started a new community and getting the first members to post is hard.
Any advice would be appreciated. And this might help other community owners.

We have/had a FB group and we're trying to migrate them from there. It's not easy.
If it's possible to display some activity widget from FC on your home page or other areas of your website, that would help a lot

We are having a hell of a time too. I will be writing an FluentCRM automation so that people are auto-joined into the "Say Hello" area, so that if they don't say anything, we will still be able to coax them with an @ mention, otherwise they can't be reached. If you privately message them, they won't know bc they won't receive an email that there is a message waiting. Lastly, hopefully they will receive a weekly update if they didn't already turn that off.

I think once Fluent Community gets more seasoned with a dynamic sidebar and a way to point a blog category to a space, you can add more value to the spaces and get more people to interact. Right now, it's 100% dependant on you producing content in each space!

The community does not run on its own. It is hard work, so you need to give members something worth coming back again and again. I don’t like the idea of just adding WP posts or categories because they can also read them on the website. The community should be a safe space to interact with other people. And it only works if others are interacting, too, or else, it will be similar to a graveyard.
I started a site just to test Fluent out really, a Music site with a style focus.
Posts are mainly just video posts that I have posted usinbg Youtube embeds and filtering them into catagories via spaces and topics.
Posted maybe a dozen posts into current FB groups and comments that are focused on the same music style.
Had 100 people join through 1 post one day, 50 the next... getting a trickle each day when I do nothing to promote it, but when I do a post on FB (in groups that are the same interest focus) then I get lots joining and all engaging.
I created a challenge with prizes.
