Does the activity feed automatically show posts that are created the regular way in wp-admin or when using a front end posting plugin?
Also, if so can custom post types be added also?

FC doesn't use the standard WP posts tables in the database, for good reasons, so I don't think this is possible without some code to periodically create new FC posts when new WP posts are added.
Thomas Oates that really limits its potential use... any site with woocommerce, or blog posts has instant integration with other community newsfeed plugins.... buddypress, buddyboss, youzify... I understand fluent is faster the way it is setup, but it really should have the option to integrate with regular posts / woocommerce products just to keep that basic WP functionality.
