Hey guys, quick question about community posts.

Is  it wise to send all admin posts as announcements so that members will always be notified as soon as the post is made ? The main reason is to increase engagement.

Note : Not all members have activated push notifications .

I try to use this function once a week (max) and only if i´m sure the post will really help members or be interesting in some form. Every Post would definitely be too much and teach them to ignore these notification e-mails. Making sure it is important or interesting and no more than 1 a week teaches them to open an click it.

Be careful with too many notifications — it trains members to disable them entirely, and once they do, you lose that channel forever.

Members who are genuinely interested will enable notifications on their own and check the community regularly for what's new.

I'd say once a week max is a good approach, and even then — only when it's something you truly don't want them to miss.

Yeah once per week is the best way. Do not spam because you will lose your audience.

I've noticed when the community admin posts something in the space you are a member of, you get an on-site notification. This gets spammy if admin posts frequently.
