Global posting
I am not sure I am understanding this correctly, but I would like to have the ability to post to the general feed and not always have to select a "space" it has always seemed odd to me that you cannot just post like in FB but always have to select a grou/space to post in. I have Global Post Status enabled however it still always requires the selection of a space. What am I not understanding?
EricK Bueno yes, I have it turned on but still it requires selecting a space for every post.
Mike Cameron You get an "on my profile" option in Space dropdown which is where global posts go. You basically want that to be auto selected when the user is on the main feed page?
Ross FCA yeah, it seems silly to have to choose. No other social platform that I have used forces you to choose a group to post in. Either you post on the main feed or in a group/space. There is no way my users will understand this intuitively.
Actually, especially when you are on your own profile, it feels a bit off having to select On my profile since you are already on your own profile.
