Gamification for FC?

Jorge de los Reyes I dunno, points is a plus but I am trying to think of ways to keep visitors on the site longer since google loves when visitors engage and gamification comes to mind, after all, once a visitor makes a post, then they normally take off and google does take notice of this when visitors are not on the site long term which is called bounce rate and if you have a high bounce rate, then you will get lower ranking in google, so the overall goal is to keep visitors on the site as long as possible.

David Scurlock Gamipress is, mostly free. And awesome. You have tons of add-ons. I guess, you will be able to sync both with automations. And probably show pages of Gamipress Areas with the Fluent Community Template.

Eg.: Someone posts > Assign points, Ranks, etc.

We used to use it for creating Itineraries and show Maps to the users. Kind of "You are here" > Complete Welcome so as to unlock this area, etc.

Jorge de los Reyes I know fluent has a lot to deal with but it may be worth while if fluent came out with their own gamification plan, afterall, they certainly have enough products that can be gamified or supported. FluentGamification, however, since reviewing gamipress, I feel that a dedicated team would be needed for such a project. An independent loyalty and rewards program that supports all fluent products. If fluent did something similar to gamipress, it would be a money maker for sure.

Bryan William you are thinking small scale. I propose that fluent build an independent loyalty + rewards plugin which they can give away for free, it would be able to support fluent products, then the team can create an unlimited number of addons, they can charge a nominal fee for each addon or offer a lifetime deal for all addons. Either way, it will bring fluent and non fluent members into the fold.
