full screen mode when users get into the course
Hi, thank you for making this community plugin which becomes one of my core plugins for my business. :)
My question is simple, how can i force the view for the course as full screen mode?
I attached the screenshot that makes the fullscreen mode in the course. What I want to do is that full screen mode is default for everyone who get into the course screen.
Having a full screen mode as default for the Course, particularly the Lessons, would be really great and provide a more focussed envt for the learners inside the (i.e. it would be much less distracting). There can either be a setting to have the lesson interface as full screen mode by default.....or , to simplify further, there can be a default lesson UI as full screen, which can be switched to a screen with visible sidebar by users themselves if they prefer so.
Honestly speaking, the current Lesson Interface (LEsson UI) for the FC Lessons are really distracting from the learner's perspective. The Learners have two sidebars - one on the left as menu sidebar, and another on the right as Lesson Curriculum. So the study atmosphere (lesson UI) is very constricted, congested and a bit suffocating as well, due to multiple sidebars. In learning situations, "LESS IS MORE".
Hello SAK LEE, arjun arjun, we will provide a filter hook so that you can control the default screen mode. Hopefully, you can use that custom filter hook in the upcoming release. After the upcoming release, I will give you an update.

Note: This is just the initial default value. If a user exits full-screen mode, the latest value will be saved in local storage, and that will be used in the future lesson visit.

Tawsif Ahmed Riyad Further question, when the customer close the browser and visit the site again, the value is changed to default? or restore the lastest value.
I want to set the fullscreen mode as a default and hide the button that I mentioned in the post.
- Restores the latest value that has been saved in local storage.
- For the default always fixed value and hiding the toggle full screen button, we need to see if that is feasible and logical. You can submit the idea here,
